a warm embrace...

I've been waiting for this perfect moment, to invite you into the space where I want to share my ideas, commune with open-minded people who relate to my experiences. As life would have it, this is NOT the perfect time. Just as it hadn't been 6 months before, or a year before that. But I have decided this is the time. and that makes this that perfect moment. The space isn't perfectly furnished, and some things may move around, but come on in, leave the shoes by the door....

Writing

So welcome, I hope this space serves as a meeting place for strong ideas about how our communities will grow and flourish. A group project where we create the spell books to design our lives. You should expect essays, video essays, random poetry and posts about the ideas that impact us.

Art

I have seen you overworking in attempts to be an honorable person and even more to make space for the other Queer and Black faces that will follow you. I think you are amazing and want to honor you as well. So when I create products, it's to adorn our spaces and bodies with the very essence of Black woman. I hope you see things you like, and even if capitalism prevents you from acquiring them, I hope you feel reflected in the art.

Yoga

The relationship with my body has evolved significantly because of my yoga practice. I would like to share my perspectives with you in case my knowledge has any value to the development of your relationship with your body.

Thank you for being here. I need you here. Not just because this is a commune, but also because I need the validation (and critique, but not too much on ya girl) of my art and my ideas, I also need the motivation to keep going (read: adhd), and the money helps me survive the capitalism machine. I am truly honored that many of you have supported me from the shadows and now it is time that we all take a step toward each other and build, according to our wildest fantasies.
